Christmas Club

Balance Requirements
There is no minimum balance requirement to open a Christmas Club account.

There is no minimum balance requirement to earn interest on this account.

Service Charges During the Activity Period
No service charges apply during the activity period.

Compounding and Crediting
Interest on Christmas Club accounts is not compounded. Interest is added to the account balance on the last day of the activity period.

Accrual of Interest on Non-Cash Deposits
Interest begins to accrue on the business day you deposit non-cash items (for example-checks).

Transaction Limitations
Withdrawals on Christmas Club accounts are disallowed.
Final distributions is the first of November.

Balance Requirements
You must deposit $100 to open an account.

Service Charges During the Statement Period

  • A $3 maintenance fee will be charged if your ledger balance falls below $300.
  • If your average ledger balance for the statement period is more that $600, a maintenance fee will not be charged.
  • A $10 maintenance fee will be charged if your account becomes dormant (547 days without activity) and your ledger balance falls below $100.
  • There is no item charge for each check paid.
